Jake Xerxes Fussell + Glenn Kimpton & Paul Bradley at Strange Brew

A gig held at Strange Brew on Wednesday 19th October. The event starts at 19:30.

Jake Xerxes Fussell recontextualizes the folk canon for the modern day. The singer and guitarist has become one of his generation’s foremost interpreters of folk and blues from the American South, imbuing the tracks with an emotive warmth and radiant charm.

Fussell’s latest album ‘Good and Green Again’ continues to delve into the folk legacy, this time fuelled by tales of loss and redemption. And it’s Fussell’s striking narrative prowess, coupled with his instrumental dexterity, that vividly transforms the songs and makes for a captivating live performance.
