Hello! Thank you for your interest in joining. My name is Clare and I am a facilitator of ceremony, ritual and celebration. If you have any questions about this event please feel free to email me on [email protected]. To learn more about me please visit www.idodeclare.co.uk
Autumn is my favourite season, a time when nature begins to slow down and the vibrant busyness of summer gently gives way to stillness. The air grows crisp, the days shorten, and the trees let go of their leaves in a quiet, graceful surrender. Amidst this seasonal shift comes Halloween — a festival that acknowledges the enigma of life and death.
Far from just costumes and sweets, Halloween holds space for a deeper reflection. It invites us to pause and consider what lies beyond the visible, to confront the realities of decay, decline, and the impermanence that threads through all living things. As the natural world begins its cycle of dying back, we are reminded that death is not an end, but a necessary part of life’s rhythm — something ancient cultures honoured and we, too, can respect.
In this liminal moment between light and darkness, the seen and unseen, Halloween offers both a celebration and a contemplation — a time to play with shadows, remember those who came before us, and embrace the mysteries we often try to ignore.
Please try to arrive on time and expect to stay for the full duration. We will be sitting on cushions on the floor for most of the session so please wear comfortable clothing . If this will not work for you please don't worry! Let me know in the 'mobility' section of this form and we will find a way to keep you comfortable.
NB: If you have experienced a recent bereavement please do let me know in advance so we can discuss if this circle is right for you.
