TALISMAN
Roots reggae has no finer ambassadors to come out of the south-west than Talisman. Formed in 1978, Talisman vied for the title of the country's most popular live reggae act with successful national tours, which bought them loyal fans and left behind long-lasting memories. During the late 70's and early 80's, the bands performance prowess earned them support slots with bands as diverse as Burning Spear, The Clash, and The Rolling Stones.

The Golden Guild Band is a product of Reggae artist and frontman, Guire following the release, last year, of his latest album, FREEDUMB . The band are based in Bristol and all the members hail from Somerset and South Wales . Guire wanted to bring his music to a live audience and he has a good name on the reggae scene , not just in Bristol but back in Jamaica. All of the songs are original and are very roots and dub based with a dancehall flavour . The band are all seasoned players and have been handpicked by Guire . They have strong ties with Da Fuchaman and His Fireblaze Band and other local reggae band , The RealSkadub .
