The Text Messengers at The Be-bop Club
£10.00

A gig held at The Be-Bop Club on Friday 7th June. The event starts at 20:30.

For the Be-Bop Club's season finale we have this powerhouse sextet featuring the front-line of Andy Hague - trumpet, Terry Quinney - alto sax and Sam Crockatt - tenor sax, who last played together to recreate the Miles Davis album Kind Of Blue at the 2019 Bristol Jazz Festival. The music will be a mixture of standards, jazz classics and originals arranged for three horns by Andy Hague in the spirit of Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers. The horns are backed by the superb rhythm section of Jim Blomfield - piano, Chris Jones - bass and Mark Whitlam - drums.
