A clubnight held at The Boxing Gym on Saturday 27th June. The event starts at 14:00.
Save Our Scene join Tokio Station for a once in a lifetime event, featuring a takeover from Jungle giants, RUPTURE. All Courtyard sets will feature live musicians and take place on the iconic SOS Firetruck. In the Nook, expect big, beautiful, bassy BANGERS from Bristol's favourite vibe merchants: KESH & FRIENDS. Powered by Sheffield's baddest sound system: Tabla.
If you've been to The Boxing Gym before, you'll know the score. The PERFECT day party venue.
RUPTURE TAKEOVER (Double O b2b Decibella b2b Dead Man's Chest) - Well, what can we say? This could be the first and last time this ever happens. Rupture joint head honcho Double O said he has the perfect selection for this, that explores fast paced, moving, hefty tunes that have a tickle of beauty and lightness that Tokio Station promises. Decibella is known for her versatile selection, often described as blending 'toughness with softness' - the perfect fit for the Jungle Jazz sets. Western Lore originator, Dead Man's Chest, will supply an ample amount of dubplates, drawn from well over 10 years of collecting.
SPECIAL GUEST (93-96 SET) - If the artist can't be announced, you know they hold weight. The new-school Jungle/DNB heavyweight ***** will be taking the stage for a world exclusive 93-96 set. Fresh off an international tour, they're locked and loaded to bring you some slammers.
Bristol shellers Eminence & Deselecta promise nothing but soulful tracks, with a healthy selection of heads-down tracks thrown in the mix.
Intaception & Step Twice are linking up for a big 2 hour b2b to start off the day, exploring multiple genres and landing on some jungle towards the end of the journey. Joined by musicians for the second hour. Not one to miss!
FINAL NOTE: THIS EVENT WON'T FEATURE VINYL! We're sorry to say we aren't able to play records for this one, as mixing records on top of a firetruck is unfortunately impossible. Digital only.
Come down, show support and have a boogie with your best mates < 3
