Join us on 17th February at The Bristol Fringe on Princess Victoria Street from 7.30pm for a free night of two Edinburgh Festival stand up comedy previews from Bristol comedians Morgan Rees and Riordan DJ.
Here is more about Morgan and Riordan's shows:
Morgan Rees brings a work-in-progress of his debut stand-up show.
His family life can be described as anything but conventional. From Youtuber aunties to pole-dancing grandmothers, from siblings half his age to uncles half his height. Less a Nuclear family, and more a Post-Nuclear Disaster Family, but a happy one.
As seen and heard on BBC Radio 4, BBC2, BBC Wales, BBC Radio Wales and BBC iPlayer. Basically, just the BBC. Writer for Mock The Week (on the BBC). Finalist for the prestigious BBC New Comedy Award (I told you), runner up of So You Think You’re Funny, and selected for Chortle’s 2020 Ones to Watch.
“Excellent” The Scotsman
“Fast gags, unexpected swerves and rolling stories” The Sunday Times
“Clearly be going places” Bruce Dessau
Riordan DJ is a 24 year old stand up comedian and medical student from Devon. A student at Bristol Medical School, he spends his time writing jokes when he should be studying. He won the Chortle Student Comedy Award 2017 and was nominated for the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2019. In his first solo stand up show, he explores why he decided to become a doctor, whether he will make a good doctor, and how one patient changed his whole perspective on medicine.
"Great one-liners... his taut, creative writing will surely propel him to great things" Chortle
