LOAFUS at The Bristol Fringe
Free Entry

A gig held at The Bristol Fringe on Thursday 9th April. The event starts at 20:30.

Loafus is a singer / songwriter, multi instrumentalist and visual artist hailing from the Llynfi Valley, South Wales UK. Her music is a Dreamy, Psychedelic blend of Grunge, Blues and Jazz inspired by the likes of Nirvana, Amy Winehouse, Jimi Hendrix, Pixies, Crumb, Blind Melon, Mazzy Star and Nick Drake.

Loaf's soulful vocals mix with grungey discordant guitar riffs to form a mellow mixing pot of blues, jazz and R&B. Accompanied by punchy, oafish basslines and drums, Loafus’s unique mixture of genres is not one to miss.

Loaf’s lyrics often talk about living for yourself and trusting in the natural flow of life, having grown up in an arty household she was inspired to create and stay true to herself from a young age. Loaf’s passion for the natural world is depicted in her visual art which often features plants, creatures and mushrooms. Loafus Art and Music blend perfectly together in a floaty dreamscape.

Entry requirements: 14+, any under 18s accompanied by 21+ adult 1:1 ratio
