Heartwood Chorus - folk choir from Bristol at The Canteen

A gig held at The Canteen on Monday 17th August. The event starts at 20:30.

Heartwood Chorus are a folk choir from Bristol. They sing original, spellbinding arrangements of traditional folk songs, as well as interpretations of future classic from the thriving folk scene.  What began as a community project has evolved into a quality folk act in its own right. This is not a choir that sings folk music… this is a bonafide folk choir, and one that's been called the “finest in the UK”. "A South-Bristol folk choir. Led by Neil Johnson (Heartwood Chorus).”

"We enjoying singing traditional songs in our own voices. No posh-choir stuff”
