GOYA are a Bristol based cinematic fusion act, effortlessly blending elements of an array of differing musical styles, to create textures and tapestries for the listener to wrap themselves in.
Taking inspiration from such influences as GoGo Penguin, Hania Rani, Radiohead, Debussy, Yussef Dayes, Mammal Hands, Philip Glass, Foals & Portico Quartet...GOYA are rapidly creating their own unique take on cinematic & atmospheric music, as well as building a name and reputation as one of the hottest up and coming acts in the Bristol music scene.
Watertight, imaginative drum grooves sit seamlessly alongside driving, soulful basslines which allow the melodies to play cleverly, carefully and creatively as they dance and float around the space. Twinkling, ethereal guitar refrains sit beside soaring sax lines, all scattered across delicately woven webs of spider-silk piano. The band's wide ranging influences and backgrounds have led to them being likened to such differing acts as; Sigur Ros, Anderson Paak & The Free Nationals, The Cinematic Orchestra, The Mars Volta, Massive Attack & more.
