See event details

A gig held at The Canteen on Thursday 20th March. The event starts at 21:30.

With a propulsive rhythm section, tight arrangements and driving solos, the
Latin Soul Quintet play instrumental music heavily influenced by sounds from
60’s Verve and Prestige record labels.

Playing a mix of Boogaloo / Mod Jazz / Bossa Soul the bands sound is as melodic as it is groovy. Led by Bristol based composer and arranger James Dorman whose other work ranges from art installations (Gaia - Bristol Cathedral) to composing for TV. Credits include ‘David Attenborough’s life in Colour’, ‘DNA Journey’ and ITV’s ‘Dinner Date’.

Entry requirements: 18+
