Sugarmoon at The Cloak and Dagger

A gig held at The Cloak and Dagger on Friday 22nd May. The event starts at 21:00.

Sugarmoon are an eccentric five-piece band with a penchant for beer-hall ragtime, soaring saxophone and five-way harmonies. Having started life as The Good Boys in early 2019, Sugarmoon emerged as a musical force - already boasting an eclectic collection of original songs rooted in vintage folk-pop, but politely refusing to settle in a particular genre.

Evoking the sounds of the Mamas and Papas, Donovan and The Doors, they have taken powered through sold out performances for global music collective Sofar Sounds, scaling their sound to suit the surroundings, from their triumphant full set up right down to a completely unplugged set in a pitch black park.

Sugarmoon are currently in the process of recording their debut EP from their Bristol living rooms with a hopeful release date of Spring 2020
