CINDER WELL
Cinder Well is the musical project of Los Angeles-based songwriter, composer and multi-instrumentalist Amelia Baker, creating dark, rich and tender music that sits between folk, experimentation and cinematic soundscapes. Her new album A Blooming Body expands her sound into a more immersive and unconventional collection, balancing crystal-clear vocals with richly textured arrangements and stories that reach beneath the ethereal acoustic surface.

Baker has toured extensively across the US and Europe, sharing stages with Lankum, Pallbearer and Reverend Kristen Michael Hayter, with appearances at Roadburn, Amplifest and End of the Road. In 2024, Cinder Well also performed a Tiny Desk session for NPR.

ANCIENT HOSTILITY
Ancient Hostility perform close-harmony singing, telling vivid, poetic stories of resistance, vulnerability and loss. Comprised of Simon Barr, Ash Ludd and Sal Maguire, their songs explore grief, personal relationships and radical history, alongside contemporary accounts of resistance and struggle.

Sparse instrumentation leaves space for their voices and unflinching lyrics, creating music that has captivated audiences across punk, metal and folk. This is music for ordinary people who recognise the growing darkness but refuse to give up on the remaining light.
