Alpaca Presents | George Bailey + Support at Crofters Rights

A gig held at The Croft on Thursday 5th October. The event starts at 19:30.

George Bailey is a songwriter from Teesside with an upbeat energetic set with pop/rock influences performing with my Bristol based band set to tour the UK in 2023. Buzzing to be starting it off in such a great city. Can’t wait to see you there :)

Jack Warren and Kate Moody started creating music together in late 2020, focusing on a mix of dreamy ballads and pumping indie rock bangers.
Starting out by writing a few singles in uni halls as a hobby to pass time quickly turned into a meaningful project after the release of their debut EP “bite me”, which they closely followed up with their first LP “Back On Track” 5 months later. Both of these projects were well received by friends and fans alike, due to their dreamy/ indie rock inspired melodies in songs like purgatory and Q29, and their well-woven hard-hitting lyrical themes in songs like Spineless, This Town and Bristol.
This LP marked the start of their live journey, kicking off with a feature set for UWE “Zinezilla” at Bristol’s Strange Brew. dazed has since gone on to play to crowds of many sizes at other Bristol venues such as The Exchange, The Thunderbolt, The Golden Lion, Zed Alley and The Crofters Rights and events such as UpFest.
Their good form continues on their latest body of work “A Life In Colour” featuring some of their biggest singles in “Broken Glass” and “Drop Dead”, and also introduces new bandmates Sam Lee and Harry Sions into the mix. This era also marked the start of their national radio journey appearing a handful of times on BBC Radio Bristol’s Upload segment.
dazed have already kicked off the new year with a sellout show at The Exchange, where they debuted new track “Rainbow Tee” and teased more exciting news in the coming months!
