Brirstol Radical Film Festival 2026 - Full festival pass

Brirstol Radical Film Festival 2026 - Full festival pass at The Cube

An event held at The Cube on Friday 6th November. The event starts at 20:00.

We are back with a full weekend of "radical" films.
We start on Friday with the story of the People's Republic of Stoke Crofts in The Republic. The film will be followed with a Q&A with Chris Chalkley.
On Saturday, we present two films around the topic of precarity: Homebound is a film that explores the social and economic pressures that poorer people experience and that force them to make hard decisions. A story that combines friendship with an exploration of caste, religion and social pressures in India. Later in the day, we present the much celebrated Two Days, One Night. A film that explores how precarity forces working class people to fight among themselves to survive.
Saturday will start with a film about the Bloody Sunday events in Northern Ireland in 1972 and the fight for justice that continues to this day.
Also on Saturday, Planet Israel explores the moral numbness in Israel on the face of the current conflict.
Sunday starts with the inspiring story of Kenmure Street in Glasgow when an spontaneous protest stopped two men from being deported. Beyond the actual events, the film - a highly imaginative documentary - links this event to the history of protest and rebellion in Glasgow.
The festival ends with a film that combines fiction and documentary to reveal what happens inside a detention centre for migrants in the USA.
And of course, on Sunday on its usual slot, our "International Short Film Showcase" will bring to you short films from all over the world.
