HAPTIC
Across two decades of restless experimentation, the Chicago trio Haptic has earned a reputation for meticulously assembled recordings that are complemented by unpredictable, often riveting live performances. Consistently blurring the line between different genres and disciplines, Haptic’s practice has expanded to include collaborations with dancers and filmmakers, soundtracks, installations, and unique site-specific performances, and they are as likely to be found performing in a gallery or museum as a bar or concert hall. Throughout the fall of 2025, the group will stage a series of unique events to celebrate their 20th anniversary, beginning in Chicago and continuing with a tour of the UK. In concert, the trio is frequently joined by a different rotating fourth member, and here they will be accompanied by Seth Cooke.

KATHY HINDE
Bristol based sound artist Kathy Hinde creates sonic environments composed of handmade instruments, objects and electronics, blending digital and analogue systems. She is often inspired by behaviours of the more-than-human world. Current interests circle around magnetic sensing, ways of listening, and revealing hidden sounds and acoustics. https://kathyhinde.co.uk/
AN UNNECESSARILY JUSTIFIED WITH
This sporadic spoken word project has previously exploited kitchen sink drama, portmanteau horror, anthropomorphic fairy tales, the internal soundscape of being punched in the head, and a complete list of Miley Cyrus's tattoos. A freshly written text will be performed by a newly minted ensemble. https://loveloverecords.bandcamp.com/track/complicated-tupperware-an-unnecessarily-justified-with-dsic
EVERY CONTACT LEAVES A TRACE
Every Contact Leaves a Trace celebrates its ten year anniversary, plus one. Based Bristol label dealing in solar wind; improv raves within a repurposed video game; football chants and street violence in San Lorenzo; a Chicago legend’s compulsive dictaphoning; film and sport redactionism; the music taste and surveillance capabilities of smartphones; sonobuoy cemeteries; a running argument with Zaireeka across most of Bristol’s car parks; and the art of leaving on the lens cap. Bandcamp points to a dead site. https://everycontactleavesatrace.bandcamp.com
