Our daytime birthday programme will explore repair through zine-making, sock darning, textile mending, bike fixes and psychic repair in the age of late capitalism with a variety of workshops, talks and radical rummaging roams.

Luciann Blake - Knitwear Repair

Workshop: bring a worn out piece of clothing or textile to repair together. Save it from landfill and make it more beautiful in the process. Beginners and experts alike are welcome to share their skills. Materials and basic tools supplied

Lilith Wozniak - Gallery of Repairs

A relaxed opportunity to bring along something you've mended or repaired to show off (or a picture if it's too big!), sharing ideas and inspiration.

Rob Wall - Dr Bike

Free bike tweaks and repairs. A limited range of tools and spares, but let's do what we can, even if that's just properly diagnosing what's up with your bike so that you know what to say when you take it to a bike shop. Plenty of opportunity to get hands on and learn some mechanics yourself.

Laila Shah - Psychic surgery, psychic repair

A workshop using poetry and ritual to diagnose the counterfeit cures sold by capitalism for its own illnesses, and imagine what real repair could look like instead.

Katy Wall - Forest of Zine

Forest of Zine will encourage you to explore nature repair in all its forms, from practical to metaphorical. A drop-in collage workshop with all materials provided will lead to an experimental collaborative zine of your explorations.
