❀ Aracali Puppet Theatre - double feature: The Rehearsal & The Secret Keeper
2pm, duration 1 hour. Suitable for all ages
We are thrilled to announce a double bill presented by Araceli Puppet Theatre, exploring the thin line between raw human effort and otherworldly magic. Experience the Beauty of Imperfection.
- THE REHEARSAL -
A shadow puppet sideshow offering a "behind-the-curtain" view of circus life. It’s a tribute to the challenges performers endure to deliver seamless magic - witness the trials before the sparkle.
"A truly beautiful piece that will be remembered for a long time." - Kim Lamb, Primary Teacher
- THE SECRET KEEPER -
A masterclass in non-verbal object theatre. Using minimally worked roots, leaves, and bones, this piece brings mythical creatures to life. Watch a dragon cross the moon and a tiny warrior dream of flight.
"A lovely introduction to the possibilities of object theatre." - Total Theatre Magazine
❀ Joe D'Orso - The Newspaper Man

Sandwiched between new and old news, through a vortex of muddled up worlds and words, an old man’s eccentric obsession with newspapers has consumed him. Cuthbert Crumple is lost amongst the pages. Will he find the way through his crumpled dreams?
