A
gig
held at The Cube
on Tuesday 14th May. The event starts at 19:30.
Forget what you know about folk and bluegrass and fall for the exquisite sounds of Kaia kater. Combining soulful banjo playing with haunting vocals, Kater creates music that is “where bluegrass meets Nina Simone” (The Guardian). Drawing on both her Grenadian and Canadian roots, Kater writes songs that “help expand and challenge the borders of what traditionally-defined roots music can sound like” (Rolling Stone). Her music resonates with thoughts, feelings and emotions that will vibrate within you for days. Kaia Kater has songs and stories to share and she wants to share them with you.
This is an unallocated seated Colston Hall Presents event at The Cube, Dove St S, Avon, Bristol BS2 8JD
