A
gig
held at Bristol Folk House
on Sunday 14th December. The event starts at 19:30.
To raise funds to complete the recording of the folk tale “Greya and Glibyun”, Scops will be performing it in full for one last time before it’s release!
The story of “Greya and Glibyun” comes to our shores from a forgotten island one thousand years ago. We follow Greya, a barren woman, on her yearning journey into the underworld, in search of a child. FFO: motherhood or lack thereof, mob mentality, wet sand, shamans, necromancy and dry old cows.
Goodiepal (Gæoudjiparl) is an enigma of experimental electronic music. Hailing from the Faroe Islands, via much of Northern Europe, Goodiepal is a composer, lecturer, artist, mandolin player and fully trained horologist, bound by oath to always keep the “techno rock promise”. We’re not too sure what he’ll be doing yet.
Entry requirements: no age restrictions (under 18s to be accompanied by an adult over 21yrs, 1:1 ratio)
