How to Photograph your Artwork at Bristol Folk House
Full fee: £54.00 | Over 65s: £48.60 | Benefit: £43.20

A event held at Bristol Folk House on Sunday 26th November. The event starts at 10:00.

It is becoming increasingly useful for artists to have high quality photographic copies of their work, for online exhibition or competition entries, websites or social media.

This workshop covers the basics of photographing both 2D and 3D artworks, using techniques and equipment that are readily available for use in your home or studio. You will learn about controlling natural light, camera settings and basic cropping and editing for different uses. It will include information on post-production; adjusting colours and resizing for different purposes. This part will be a demonstration using free software and detailed handouts, so you can follow the process later on your own computer/laptop. You will work in pairs or groups of 3 and will assist each other with your photographs, by holding backgrounds etc.
