Martin Callingham at Bristol Folk House

A gig held at Bristol Folk House on Thursday 16th May. The event starts at 20:00.

Martin Callingham is an alternative folk musician from Bristol, UK. He has been melting audiences into a puddle with his intimate delivery and beautifully crafted songs since 2016’s 'Tonight, We All Swim Free'. The album found admirers worldwide and acclaim and airplay from the likes of Clash Magazine, Louder than War and BBC 6 Music.

Patterns is the long-awaited follow up, due for release on 24th May 2024.

Martin has toured Europe and the UK with his understated yet exquisitely orchestrated chamber folk that owes as much to cinematic soundtracks as to songcraft. Intricately tessellated arrangements underpin Martin’s uniquely silky-smooth vocal on this beautiful new 10-track album recorded in Bristol with Jim Barr (Portishead / Get the Blessing).

‘A sublime stream of complete and utter loveliness’ – Louder than War.

Entry requirements: no age restrictions
