Alan Daniel Tobins at Bristol Folk House
See event details

A gig held at Bristol Folk House on Wednesday 20th May. The event starts at 20:00.

Alan Daniel Tobin is a West Cork–based songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist whose music flexes between the sadness and delight of everyday life. Hugely influenced by the Atlantic Ocean, the wild West Cork landscape and his family, his songs carry a deep sense of place, and a minor obsession with lighthouses.

Working from his log-cabin studio, Tobin has released four albums (two solo as ADT and two with his alt-folk band LOWmountain), with new music due in 2026. He has shared stages with the likes of Glen Hansard, Gemma Hayes and Mick Flannery, and appeared on Other Voices and TG4’s Glór Tíre*.* Performing with warmth, humour and emotional precision, his live shows move effortlessly between hushed intimacy and soaring, atmospheric moments that linger long after the final note.
