See event details

A gig on Friday 19th September. The event starts at 20:30.

Saoco Collective is a new Bristol Latin jazz group. The band plays an energetic and inventive mix of original material, fresh takes on jazz standards, and music by some of the greats of Afro-Cuban jazz, including Ray Barretto, Tito Puente, and Chucho Valdés. Rooted in tradition but always pushing forward, Saoco Collective brings a distinctive voice to the Latin jazz scene.

The band comprises some of the southwest’s foremost players.
If you’ve witnessed Jim in any of his other projects playing at the Forge, you will know how good this is going to be.
