James Blake Reworks at The Gallimaufry
Free before 7pm / £3 OTD

A gig held at The Gallimaufry on Sunday 28th November. The event starts at 19:00.

Following a warm display of original and improvised material last month, t l k return to The Galli with a set of James Blake's most influential tracks. Joining forces with Alun Elliott-Williams (Tiny Chapter, Waldo's Gift) and Ella Joy (Grove, Nányë), t l k honour the depth and intricacy of Blake's material, while bringing their own evolving flavours to the Galli's stage.

t l k is an independent producer, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist based in Bristol. Playing live as a three-piece band alongside James Storm Otieno (bass, synth, sax, BVs) and Liam Twohig (drums), the past year has seen the project expand from its roots in introverted practice to a series of expansively immersive live shows, headlining the Pergola and beyond, supporting Tusks at The Louisiana, Run Logan Run at Jazz Stroud and Waldo's Gift at Trinity Centre, and stepping into a three-part residency at Bristol's genre-bending melting pot, The Gallimaufry.
