PYJÆN at The Gallimaufry

A gig held at The Gallimaufry on Thursday 8th November. The event starts at 21:00.

Pyjaen - Described by Jazz Wise Review as having “a groove propelled with dynamism and formidable technique”, PYJÆN seamlessly melds funk, afro-beat and contemporary sounds with nods to hip-hop and disco, whilst acknowledging the traditional era of 1920s jazz and dance music.

More than a quintet, PYJÆN is the unified expression of the emotions, journeys and influences that comprise its diverse members.

In November 2017, we released our first live recorded EP "Prologue", which has helped to firmly cement us on the London jazz.

Fresh from selling out Jazz Cafe and Ronnie Scott's this September PYJÆN brings their music to Bristol as part of their UK tour.
