Still Murray

Still Murray at The Gallimaufry

A gig held at The Gallimaufry on Tuesday 26th July. The event starts at 21:00.

Still Murray is the alter ego of Yorkshire-born Murray McCusker, whose lo-fi R&B mixes, hip hop inspired vocals and beats with jazz tinted keys to create songs that are introspective and self-exploratory. Still Murray made his live debut last year, supporting Greentea Peng in Bristol, where he is currently based.

His upcoming show at The Gallimaufry marks Still Murray’s first hometown headline show and will be the first live outing of his self-produced, self-titled album, due to be released later this month. Described by Murray as a return to self, the 10 tracks slink through baggy 90’s guitars, swaggy synths, hypnotic drum samples and auto-tuned mantras to bring the listener along for the ride.

Expect a mesmerising performance from one of Bristol's up and coming stars.
