FUNKFUNKFUNK - Prince Edition - Stone Cold Hustle + Special Guests

Stone Cold Hustle take over The Golden Lion on Thursday 1st October for the first edition of FunkFunkFunk, kicking off their new monthly residency with a Prince Special featuring Rich Wilks on vocals. Expect live funk, special guests, deep cuts and spontaneous grooves.

Taking place on the first Thursday of every month, the six piece Bristol funk outfit will be joined by a different guest musician and turn their attention to the music of one legendary artist, reworking a handful of their songs through the Stone Cold Hustle machine.

Alongside the monthly special, expect original Stone Cold Hustle material, deep cut funk covers, extended grooves and improvised jams, with plenty of room for the music to head somewhere unexpected.

For the first edition, Rich Wilks joins the band on vocals as we delve into the music of Prince.

One guest. Six Hustlers. Prince tunes. A stack of funk. No seatbelts.
