Batstone + Parkii at The Golden Lion
See event details

A gig held at The Golden Lion on Thursday 15th August. The event starts at 20:30.

Batstone: Down to Earth, honest and defiant, Batstone is an 18 year old indie-folk artist from Bristol. His
songs read like stories, written from the heart, and drawn from his experiences growing up in a complicated world. He embeds vignettes of his life into wildly creative landscapes, inspired by the raw authenticity of artists like Phoebe Bridgers and Noah Kahan, and authors like Virginia Woolf and Ocean Vuong, allowing you a glimpse into his
‘Frivolous Imagination’.

Parkii: Parkii’s music looks like a pair of well used dungarees. Hailing from Wiltshire, his spoken word covers everything from aspirations to live in a shepherds hut, to intergalactic spaceship love. With influences such as Bon iver, Mac Miller, Wunderhorse and American Football, he is able to connect the sound of suburbia with the noise from farmland.

Entry requirements: 18+, any under 18s accompanied by 21+ adult 1:1 ratio
