Jonah Hitchens and Clare Mactaggart
A gig held at The Grain Barge on Tuesday 8th April. The event starts at 20:00.
An exciting collaboration between two highly experienced musicians; Jonah's gorgeous laid-back vocals and inspired scat solos sit perfectly with Clare's exciting gypsy jazz violin. The odd wild guitar solo thrown into the mix ensures a big sound from just two players.
Jonah is the dynamic frontman of the Jonah Hitchens band, an exhilarating eight piece mash-up of soul funk and jazz. Joined here by seasoned violinist Clare Mactaggart (Portished, Beth Gibbons, Aldous Harding), together they bring boundless energy to this neat little compact jazz combo. Don't miss it!
Entry requirements: 18+
