A event on Sunday 28th June. The event starts at 13:00.
Communing in Rest: A sharing circle and Sound Bath Immersion / Sound Experience
What does it truly mean to rest in a world that constantly asks us to do more?
This workshop invites you into the practice of radical rest. Not as indulgence, but as a powerful act of care, awareness, and intention. Rooted in the philosophy of Ahimsa (non-harm), we explore rest as a form of resistance: a way to reduce harm within ourselves and gently challenge the structures and patterns that keep us in cycles of depletion.
Through the lens of Moksha (liberation), we reflect on how rest can free us, creating space to reconnect with how we truly want to feel, and whether our current way of living aligns with that deeper truth.
With the guidance of Brahmacharya, we consider how we use and conserve our energy, and what becomes possible when we direct it with clarity and purpose.
This is also a space to explore Seva, selfless service, and the humility of sharing from a resourced place. When we nourish ourselves, we expand our capacity to give, to support, and to contribute to the well-being of those around us. As we come together in community, we can consider how radical rest is a practice of care that can ripple outward in the way we show up in the world.
Expect:
Guided group discussion: sharing perspectives, experiences, and reflections on rest as both a personal and collective practice.
Partner inquiries and open conversation: with space to be heard, to listen, and to connect more deeply with yourself and others.
An embodied experience of what it truly means to rest with a Sound Bath to help soften the body and soothe the thought ripples of the mind.
This is a space for reflection, connection, and renewal.
All are welcome. No previous experience is needed.
