the Roaring Trowmen at The Greenbank Pub

A gig on Saturday 10th December. The event starts at 19:30.

Four hearty men who sing sea shanties and songs of the salty deep! 'the Roaring Trowmen' celebrate the working songs sung by sailors around the world which have endured the test of time. Hear old favorites combined with original new songs, delivered with passion, energy and plenty of silly banter!

Some years ago the Trowmen did a Crimbo gig at the 'Kingsdown Wine Vaults'. It was EPIC, one of our favourite gigs ever! We actually had it recorded thinking we might put it out as a live album, but that never happened..... So they thought it about time they did another seasonal outing of shanty silliness, at the location of their best-attended shanty singarounds. Spread the word. Let's see if they can fill the place again!!
