The Old MaltHouse Jazz Band return for their annual pilgrimage to South Bristol. Joe has promised a full horn section to compliment excellent collection of Jazzers.
Joe knows how to read a room, swings mighty hard and he is an entertainer as well as an accomplished Guitarist and Band Leader. The rest of the band are a mixture of youthful exuberence and septegenarian experience.

As always, there will be cake. Homemade cake (my Mum does some of them!), that is so much nicer than shop bought. Vegan/Gluten Free will be available.

This month see's a new venue and time. Very pleased to announce The Harbour- Totterdown is the new venue for Swing Sunday with Cake! There is also a new start time of 4pm, to make it into a genuine 'tea dance'.

Co-incidently this months band at the totally new venue , did the very first Swing Sunday at Redcatch Community Garden, when we came back from Lock Down!
That event paved the trail for Swing Dancers to emerge from the gloom, in a safe, very airy, bespoke event and was a tremendous success. Swing Sunday has eveolved into a much more community based event, with complete begineers taster sessions being a popular introduction. It has been great to see all manner of age groups and mobilities join in the fun, before the band comes on. I'm pleased to say, this class will continue to be held at each event.
