Eat Make Share: Story Meetup - Queering at The Haven Community Garden, Wainbrook Drive

A event on Tuesday 30th June. The event starts at 18:15.

Join us for a welcoming evening of food, creativity, and conversation.

This month's Meetup: Queering
This month we are collaborating with Bristol QPOC (Queer People of Colour) on a workshop about queering, solidarity and community care. Activities will involve a queer ecology talk, creative reflection and creating a map of a hopeful Bristol. There will be space to share personal stories if you wish.

You do not need to be queer or a POC to attend. This workshop is open to all queer people and allies of the queer community. If you are not a QPOC, consider reading this article to educate yourself on the importance of QPOC spaces and events:

Location: The Haven, Wainbrook Drive, Bristol.

Once you get to the end of Wainbrook Drive, you will see two sets of metal gates, head through these and into the garden.
The Haven Community Garden is not wheelchair accessible. If you are a wheelchair user, we're sorry that this isn't accessible to you. If you would like to come to future events, please email us and we will ensure to create more wheelchair accessible events.

Eat, Make, Share meetups explore how the Bristol community can become more resilient by supporting each other and responding to change together. Each month, we explore topics including energy, water, race, faith, identity and food.

We eat food together, chat and get creative.

The meetups are structured, including activities you may not have come across before. We ensure everyone is included; no experience is needed - just an interest to get involved.
