We have been working behind the scenes in order to deliver a sick night of all things Drum and Bass & Jungle in one of Bristol’s most iconic venue; The Island. For those that don’t know, The Island is set in the basement of an old victorian police station, smack bang in the middle of town on Nelson Street. This event will be the only club night held at the venue in 2021 and since lockdown so it's gonna be a very special one that we have been waiting a long time for!
Expect the finest D&B, Jungle, Old Skool, Footwork + more.

DJ STORM

Returning to BGC we have one of the most influential DJs in drum and bass to this day. Dubbed as the ‘First Lady of Drum and Bass’, Storm has graced dance floors all over the world, providing the best in drum and bass for over 20 years. Metalheadz co-founder and all-round boss we cannot wait to have DJ Storm back behind the decks at Bad Girls Club.

ORIGIN8A & PROPA
[Hardcore Energy / Universal]
Origin8a & Propa are two UK based producers who teamed up through their mutual love of classic UK rave sounds from the early hardcore scene to the vibrant UK garage scene of the nineties and noughties. Also label bosses of Hardcore Energy which are releasing some absolute stompers at the moment. We know their sound is going to go down a treat at The Island.

[Bad Girls Club / Tunnel Vision]
If you’re familiar with BGC or Tunnel Vision then you would defo know about Raggo. She’s been doing the rounds of Bristol venues with recent gigs at Lost Horizon, supporting DJ Marky being a highlight. She will be supplying a gritty selection with satisfying blends for those that love a gunfinger.

A legend around the Stokes Croft area and within the world of Drum N Bass, we knew we had to get Trakker down for this one. Expect a fantastic mix of his own productions and a selection of music from the early drum and bass era.

Spending his youth moving around different areas in Essex and since moving to Bristol to pursue a more affluent life within the music scene, Disdained will draw upon his origins in jungle, dubstep, hardcore & tech house to deliver a set designed to get you dancing. With recent shows at Basement 45 & The Cause London supporting Chase & Status & more - we know he's gonna be bringing the heat to this one!
