Slowski is a Bristol-based trio named after the sound engineer Ruslan Bogoslowski, known for his method of bootlegging records in Soviet-era Russia. Elliot (vocals) and David (guitar/production) are long-term friends and collaborators who enlisted the talents of drummer Joey in 2023, following a brief hiatus.
There is both a calmness and a sense of urgency in Slowski’s music, which blends psychedelic indie with garage rock and post-punk. After releasing three singles over the last two years, the band is currently working on a debut EP. They’ve been recording with Connor Jones of Humm Studios, with mixing handled by Joel Anthony Patchett (The Orielles, King Krule). As they near the end of production, Slowski are set to share the first offerings from the EP this summer.
"Everything Slowski create has a tremendous level of thought behind it. Their music is made with intention and a specific message. ‘Send Me The Link’ has a mesmerising mix of versatility and simplicity that can give Slowski a universal audience." – Morgan H, Northern Exposure, 2024.
Formed in the heart of Bristol, Bonzee fuses RnB, Neo-Soul, and Hip-Hop into a signature sound driven by big synths and deep grooves. Since dropping their debut EP in 2023, they’ve been lighting up stages across the city, building a reputation for electrifying live shows. Now, with fresh material in the mix and an album on the horizon, Bonzee is gearing up for their next big chapter.
Custard is a dream-pop/shoegaze five piece that drifts effortlessly between the ethereal and the surreal. With lush, atmospheric soundscapes, emo tinged guitars and a whimsical edge, their music feels like stepping into a daydream that’s just slightly off-kilter.
