A
gig
held at The Lanes
on Saturday 4th October. The event starts at 19:30.
AKA KELZZ is a UK-born, Berlin-based vocalist, songwriter, and creative force blending alternative R&B, soul, house, and spoken word. A queer, non-binary artist, they craft intimate performances that centre Black and queer narratives, fusing silky vocals with emotionally charged lyrics inspired by Lianne La Havas, Little Simz, Sade, and Cleo Sol.
Their 2024 debut album Odyssey showcased a powerful mix of soul, R&B, and spoken word, and they’re now venturing further into electronic territory with upcoming releases in house, jungle, and drum & bass. Having shared stages with Madison McFerrin, Pip Millet, and Yaya Bey, and performed at The Great Escape and Reeperbahn Festival, KELZZ is fast emerging as a vital voice reshaping the intersections of music, identity, and community.
Idele creates Alternative RnB music influenced by old school Soul and RnB. In 2025, Idele was BBC introducing’s step up artist of the week, her single “Slow Down’” was the BBC 1Xtra track of the week in March and she has received support from legendary producer Timbaland, who has hailed her rich and unique tone on his live streams. Her debut EP ‘I wish I never knew you’ was released on March 14th and the two lead singles have been featured on Spotify’s Fresh Finds R&B editorial playlist. She recently performed at The Meltdown festival curated by Little Simz and SXSW London.
Chikaya and SKN-DEEP’s collaboration began as a one-off experiment but quickly grew into a powerful creative partnership. After spending early 2024 exploring everything from R&B and indie soul to punk and drill, Chikaya was drawn back to her true love—electronic music. Reconnecting with SKN-DEEP, who was also redefining his sound, the two found instant chemistry and a shared vision that reignited their passion for the genre.
With each track they crafted together, their bond as artists deepened, blending Chikaya’s bold vocal energy with SKN-DEEP’s sharp production. By summer, five tracks in, they made it official: an alliance built on synergy, innovation, and a love for all things electronic—ready to bring their electrifying sound to the stage.
