OBJECTIONS	+ AAA GRIPPER at The Lanes
Headfirst Editor's Pick

"Free entry! Leeds trio Objections wrench wild invention from post-punk’s busted chassis. Born from the ashes of Bilge Pump, they deliver tight, noisy, winding-corridor songs filled with thick plumes of distortion – while AAA Gripper bring their mangled and combustible laments to Bristol for the first time. Big FFO: Minutemen, That Fucking Tank, Uzeda, Savages."

Gravy Train presents a Wrong Speed Records evening with:

OBJECTIONS • www.instagram.com/objectionstheband

The gnarliest tightest trio. Three 6Music sessions. Played every corner of this island. Pure fire.

Objections formed in the post-lockdown period after drummer Neil and guitarist Joe’s former band (and cult favourites) Bilge Pump slowed to an amicable halt. They wanted to continue the musical dialogue they had built up over decades and turned to Claire Adams (Nape Neck, Beards) to start something new and Objections was born.

Debut album on Wrong Speed, Optimistic Sizing, 2024.

AAA GRIPPER • www.instagram.com/aaa_gripper

First Bristol Gig. First official gig, full stop.
Members of Hey Colossus, Joeyfat, Sweet Williams, Charlottefield.
Bass and drum led, guitar strafe, vocal direct to your soul.

Debut album on Wrong Speed, We Invented Work For The Common Good, out May 16th, 2025.

SUPPORT TBA.
