Still talked about as the changing point for The Lanes developing into the venue it is today, Dakhabrakha blew everyone away when they performed in December 2017 in the newly refurbished venue.

Their music, aptly described as "Ukrainian Ethno Chaos" is a maelstrom of sound and soul, creating a world of unexpected new music.
The name DakhaBrakha means “give/take” in the old Ukrainian language and, accompanied by Indian, Arabic, African, Russian and Australian traditional instrumentation, the quartet’s astonishingly powerful and uncompromising vocal range creates a trans-national sound rooted in Ukrainian culture.
