This workshop is designed with artists in mind; learn how to draw with lithographic charcoal made right here in the studio. This material acts just like charcoal and used on a lightweight ball grained plate also opens up the possibility of making your drawing outdoors! Unlike the traditional drawing materials which contain grease, litho charcoal does not and can therefore be smudged and moved around the plate. Deletions can be made with a rubber, just like normal charcoal.

Learn how to process and print your drawing and how to incorporate traditional lithographic pencils too! At the end of the day you will leave with a small edition of your own prints.
