Inclusive retro-futuristic vibe commanders Konketsu headline The Louisiana for an eclectic Easter Sunday special.
Formed from members of psychedelic reggae band Jalandhar, psych pop outfit Cousin Kula and DIY noise outfit Whitlow, Konketsu, meaning "mixed blood", are a melting pot in name, sound and personnel.
Fusing R&B, psychedelic soul, jazz and progressive rock, Konketsu are a dual-fronted exercise in exploration, blending intricate, layered and hypnotic groove music with a melodic, atmospheric anchor.
