Moxie Dolls + AVA + Gulf at The Louisiana

A gig held at The Louisiana on Sunday 6th July. The event starts at 19:30.

Moxie Dolls is an all-girl band with a punk, feminist attitude. Formed around the need to advocate for feminist change within the music industry, they're not afraid to speak up for what's right. For fans of Amyl and the Sniffers, Hole, Paramore, and many more, with their sound inspired by the Riot Grrrl movement.

AVA ignites the stage with explosive energy, raw empowerment, and an unapologetic dose of hair-whipping. As Fiercely Bristol states, "AVA is a spark that grows into a roaring fire." They released three impactful singles in 2023, and their debut EP “Eat Your Heart Out” in early 2024, quickly catching BBC Introducing’s attention and have headlined iconic Bristol venues like The Louisiana and The Fleece. New singles and a second EP are set to drop in 2025. This powerhouse five-piece alternative rock band fuse hard-hitting riffs with soul-stirring lyrics, crafting sound that is both thunderous and resonant. AVA injects attitude into the heart of the new alt-rock era.

We're GULF, a grungy metal band with some shoegazey sounds. We mix dirty riffs, so come along and listen.

genres: grunge, metal, gothic metal, heavy shoegaze.

Entry requirements: 16+, any under 18s accompanied by 21+ adult 1:1 ratio
