Bristol dreamscape pioneers Ålesund (pronounced Aww-le-sund) released their debut EP Shift & Flux on 15th Feb 2019. Produced by Jake Bright (Mary Spender, Doeray, Kate Stapley, Svelte, Future Dub Orchestra,) Shift & Flux is a collection of beautifully crafted songs with a sparse, Nordic undercurrent. Immersive sound; rolling drums; intricate guitar work; and soaring vocals, Ålesund are an atmospheric force from the trip hop heartland that create expansive, emotive and exhilarating sound worlds.
Flawless production, exquisite vocal range and graceful atmospherics...‘Shift & Flux’ might very well be the best song we’ve listened to this year. - Tap the Feed
There’s a film not yet made, for which Ålesund haven’t yet composed the award-winning score. But it must happen in the future... - Bristol In Stereo
Haunting cinematics, total musical immersion and a beautifully Nordic twist; that’s the tour-de-force of Bristol four-piece Ålesund... - Born Music Online

Tamasene
Tamasene is the brain child of Elliot Ellison (Cousin Kula) joined by long term musical partner William Wells, as well as Lawottim Anywar (Konketsu) & Joe Milkinson (Hotsteppas).
Ellison writes psychedelic soulful folk songs with a charmful simplicity. After years confined to the vacuum of Ellison's bedroom, this project creates a platform and outlet for these songs to breathe.

Claire Northey
French violinist Claire Northey brings an air of the North African coast to the UK. Between trip hop and world music, with looped beats & vocals, Claire’s music is inspired by her time writing for theatre productions in France, Egypt and Morocco.
Humble and innovative, Northey utilised the many textures of her violin to re-mould this traditionally classic instrument. The result was delicate yet powerful.
