A gig held at The Louisiana on Tuesday 8th October. The event starts at 20:00.

30 Circles + Fabio Ferri + Silky Disturbance live at The Louisiana, Bristol. Tuesday, 8th October 2024 30 Circles encompasses the repertoire of ambient woodwind soundscapes performed and produced by Dave Colebourn, a professional saxophonist based in Bristol, UK. Dave plays fully live; his music is a chilling fusion of minimalist music, video game soundtracks and the most expansive of film scores, best exemplified by his most recent release, the EP "Dream Spaces". He performs with a free-flowing combination of richly textured melodies and improvisation, creating truly unique music for woodwinds. Fabio Ferri is a multi-instrumentalist and composer based in Bristol. In his solo sets he delivers fine compositions that push the boundaries of guitar playing and use of effect pedals, taking inspiration from jazz, electronic music, rock and contemporary classical music. He released two albums and is currently working on a new release with his recently formed quintet. "Fabio really invites you into his strange world of music through his playful interaction and a combination of not taking himself too seriously, whilst simultaneously showcasing exceptional virtuosity." PHAT "Fabio is Bristol's answer to Frank Zappa" Headfirst's Editor Silky Disturbance is a glitch-witch folk band from Bristol combining drum machines, low end bass textures, ethereal folk vocals. Silky's sonic flirtations lift the listener into a cabalistic dreamland of esoteric beats, celebrating the oracular feminine which delicately balances on dark crystalline. 16+ (under 18s to be accompanied by a responsible adult)
