held at The Louisiana
on Wednesday 24th July. The event starts at 20:00.
Join us for an unforgettable evening as Harmer Jays proudly presents the launch of his highly anticipated EP - Cold Flowers, a musical journey weaving rich instrumentation, distinctive stylistic choices, and soaring vocals to craft a contemplative and intensively concentrated sonic flow. Joined by special guests Dom Porter and Bert Ussher, this event will donate all profits to aiding families in Gaza, details of which are below.
Human Appeal is dedicated to providing critical support to children and families affected by the ongoing conflict in Gaza. Their efforts focus on delivering emergency relief, including nourishing hot meals, clean drinking water, and medical supplies, as well as rebuilding schools and offering psychosocial support to help children cope with trauma. All profits from the show will be donated directly to Human Appeal through gift aid, meaning that 100% of the donation to the Gaza fund goes directly to families in need.
Special Guests:
Dom Porter:
The last twelve months have served as a crucial part of Porter’s evolution as he began a discovery of experimentation for his own sound. Taking the nostalgic influence of his childhood, Porter melds the worlds between old and new, drawing heavy inspiration from the New Romantic, Post-Punk and Shoegaze bands shared with him by his father. A departure from his collaborative work, his latest EP ‘PSYCHE’ marks a significant juncture as Porter steps further into the spotlight as both producer and artist.
Bert Ussher:
Bert Ussher is the alias of Bristol-based songwriter Robert Pearson. Bert and his band are composed of himself, Tom gould and Marcus Jeffrey, creating a 70s tinged sound and taking influences from the likes of Air and Neil Young. Bert's upcoming EP is set for release this summer and is not to be missed.
