Silenzio and the Night, are an exciting intergenerational left field live band- merging genres that include alternative rock, post-rock, art pop and experimental strings. Their new self-released album demonstrates an impressive genre-defying mix of instrumental tracks with lyrical, grungey storytelling.
Silenzio and the Night are a six piece Bristol based band who conjure up themes from a romantic heist movie road trip from Tangiers to Stockholm. The band seductively and harmonically pull you into their sonic world combining 2 percussive drummers, full spectrum strings, guitar, bass and voice, creating a unique and hypnotic soundscape.
Multi-instrumentalist and composer, K. Bailey draws from a diverse range of pop, jazz, grunge and 60s cinema soundtrack influences in his writing that includes Gabor Szabo, Richard Hawley, Lalo Schifrin, Tom Waits, Nick Cave, Bernard Hermann, Henry Mancini, John Barry and Sonic Youth.
