Hello Bristol!
I’m very happy to be back in Bristol with my Afrocubano & Bodymovement classes.

This course is focused on improving the quality of your body movement when dancing Salsa, but it can also be very useful if you dance other styles and want to improve your body coordination, musicality and movement.  We will  focus as well  on understanding how to send the information correctly from the brain to each part of the body while dancing. The goal is to improve the connection between mind, body, movement and music. For this reason, during the three classes we will use repetition as an essential method of learning.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Orishas & Body Movement
- We will learn Orishas steps and the specific body movement connected to each Orisha.
- The main focus will be on connecting the movement of the body and improving the coordination of each part of the body.
-We will work mainly with the Cuban clave from Rumba and Son (Salsa).

- We will work on:
. Coordination of movements
. Musicality
. Body control
. Afro-Cuban steps
.Combining Afro-Cuban movements with social dance, especially Salsa
