Eliza Carthy (MBE) is undoubtedly one of the most impressive & engaging performers of her generation. Part of an English music dynasty, Carthy has twice been nominated for the Mercury Prize & has won innumerable accolades & folk awards over her 25-year career. A renowned performer Eliza has collaborated with a diverse array of artists including Paul Weller, Rufus and Martha Wainwright, Kae Tempest, Patrick Wolf & Nick Cave.
Describing herself simply as a ‘modern English musician’ Eliza Carthy has revitalised folk music & captured the most hardened of dissenters with intelligent, charismatic and boundary-crossing performance.
Joined by long-time collaborators Saul Rose & David Delarre, Eliza is set to electrify Trinity.
