Milk presents Farewell Tour by Stefan Mohamed at The Wardrobe Theatre
£10 (£8 concessions)

A event held at The Wardrobe Theatre on Thursday 22nd September. The event starts at 19:00.

Farewell Tour is the debut full-length spoken word show from poet and novelist Stefan Mohamed, based on his forthcoming poetry collection from Verve Poetry Press. Frequently surreal, occasionally grotesque, it is an end-of-the-road trip through a haunted, haunting, cursed and cursing land, with a tour guide who definitely, 100 per cent, absolutely knows what he’s doing, promise. Featuring original music by Oscar Lyons, animation by Henry Edmonds and videography by Stefan Mohamed.

Praise for the book:

“Cheeky, observational and deliciously apocalyptic.”
Molly Naylor, author of Whatever You’ve Got (Bad Betty Press)

“Brilliant and horrible in equal measure.”
Tom Sastry, author of You Have No Normal Country To Return To (Nine Arches Press)

“It’s a bit like coming home from a few nights in literally any city in the world, and then having to spend ninety minutes on a carcinogenic Tube train next to a man eating a whole chicken with his hands. But what I want to suggest to you is that that’s good, actually.”
Luke Kennard, 2021 Forward Prize Winner for Notes on the Sonnets (Penned in the Margins)
