Django Durrant - 'Stories As You Pass By' Album Launch Tour at To The Moon

A gig held at To The Moon on Thursday 4th June. The event starts at 20:00.

Django Durrant is an indie-folk artist and producer who blends lusciously mixed rhythms, meandering melodies, and dark fantastical lyricism to tell stories through music. His debut album ‘Stories As You Pass By’ takes the listener on a walk through the woods where a character lies in wait behind every song. Django’s live show brings his album to the stage delving deeper into the weird world he’s created within the underbelly of the forest by weaving even more songs seamlessly into the set.

In Silver are a Bristol‑based four‑piece creating alternative folk music, defined by intimate, highly personal songwriting and dynamic arrangements that move effortlessly from a delicate whisper to infectious, groove‑driven energy that gets people moving. The band have quickly become a notable presence within Bristol’s grassroots scene, headlining respected local venues including The Louisiana and The Grain Barge, and appearing twice at The Canteen as part of the Live Bristol Sunday sessions. Alongside regular appearances at open mic and showcase nights across the city, their reach has begun to extend further afield, with recent performances in Gloucester, Penryn (Cornwall), and at The Old England in Bristol.

"From the cosmic wanderer to the one spoonful, where roots come from the ceiling, a man sits up on the roof with a tune just now revealing. Lend a tentative ear, a buddy of mine needs a spare. Have your story take you to listen to some of his. Who’s?" Flick Durrant
