“Join author of The Perseverance and All The Names Given, poet and educator, Raymond Antrobus in conversation with Tjawangwa Dema as they discuss poetry and disobedience. In this conversation we consider Antrobus’ work broadly and some of the ways in which poetic disobedience can be performed through language, form and content. If poetry is a careful and intentional practice what does it mean to disrupt the familiar, to centre Blackness, or to decentre the hearing world? We look forward to this sensorial, tender and investigative poet’s reading of his multi-award winning poetry. (Photo Credit: Adam Docker)”

“Your headliner for this show is Brendan Common. Aloof, sharp and the right amount of dark, Brendan brings seriously honed material to a joke intense set delivered with a dry disarming persona. After just 15 gigs Brendan Common qualified for the Semi Finals or so you think you're funny?! doing this 20th gig at the Edinburgh's gilded balloon. Within 2 years of performing he became Finalist of Cardiff Glee's Welsh unsigned stand up award.”

“Sort of scaffolding really, but made of the poles they use for pole-vaulting. Did a WIP in 2019, world ended, still got loads, written loads more. Open-hearted, honest and *guaranteed* potentially funny.”
